In our school we have pupils who require alternative means of communication in order to understand and communicate with the world around them. The use of Makaton signing, symbols and gestures are some of the ways we promote communication for all. In school, the staff and pupils have been learning some common Makaton signs - each week they learn a new sign. We will post information about the 'sign of the week' here.
