Yesterday, Year Three started their new topic, Tribal Tales, with a special workshop. They were introduced to Dom, The Stone Age man who came to teach children more about the Stone, Bronze and Iron ages. Children explored and sketched different Stone Age objects and examined a Woolly Mammoth thigh bone.
In the afternoon, children focused on Stonehenge, which people used as a worship site. Using wooden blocks, children worked in groups to recreate the historic monument. Children enjoyed a fun filled, informative day and learned lots of new, interesting facts.
