YPP - Young People's Parliament is an initiative that is run by Handsworth Association of Schools (HAoS). The main aim is to allow young people a voice and to be heard in society. Elected delegates from our school are invited to sessions in which they are able to discuss what matters most to them. Issues that concern our children range from mental health in young children, the environment and understanding our differences. Children enjoy being able to make a difference to our communities and to see the changes they made implemented. Ultimately our children's future is what matters the most, so lets start by making the changes today.
